Would you like to work on the water in some of the most beautiful places in Sydney Harbor and Pittwater?

Experience would be preferred but it is not essential.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

Our work is physically demanding and is suited to a fit, strong active person with a very keen eye for detail. 

Most of our staff are aged between 18 and early 30’s and are very active outside of work.  Most of the guys play rugby, sail, surf and / or are involved in surf club activities and competitions in their spare time. 

We work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.  We start work on site at 7.00am and finish between 3.30 to 5.30pm.  We work outside of these regular hours during Sydney International Boat Show in July / August each year.  Some weekend work is also available.

Some of the tasks we carry out include - washing, drying, stainless polishing, machine buffing, hand polishing, teak cleaning, washing topsides (hulls), interior details, carpet and upholstery cleaning, pre delivery detailing, engine room cleaning, some bilge cleaning and so on.  We work on boats ranging from 17 – 100 feet with a value of anything up to $16 million dollars

Our goal is to provide a '5 star' service to our clients and a transient staff base does not convey a professional image.  It is also not beneficial for us to spend time training someone who is only looking for a temporary or 'fill in' position.  It is for these reasons we seek staff who wish to develop a longer term relationship with us.  

We have a complete set of detailing systems and procedures that are taught to everyone who works for us.  We also have measures and achievements in place for "Trainee Detailers", "Proficient Detailers" and "Supervisors" and each position is remunerated accordingly.  Award conditions are in place.
Both casual and full time positions can be available.
