Dear Royal Motor Yacht Club,
My name is Peter M and I am the Captain of Cambria II.
I am writing this reference for Steve Brookes and his company Ship Shape Services Pty Ltd, to lend my support to his application for resident detailer within the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Broken Bay.
Steve Brookes and Ship Shape Services have been looking after Cambria II since September 2006. In that time, Steve and his team have demonstrated complete reliability. When I phone to request a clean, I know for certain that they will be on time, every time. Ship Shape has an excellent level of detail throughout their staff.
Steve has several different staff working onboard Cambria and each of them seems to share Steve's passion for excellence. I trust Steve and each of his staff completely. I regularly have them onboard unsupervised and I have never had any reason to question any of their actions.
The owner is particularly fussy when it comes to his boat. He says that Steve and his crew help give Cambria the right "feel" and he is always happy to have them onboard.
My dealings with Steve are always on a professional level. Nothing seems to be out of the question for Steve. I know that anything I ask of him will be done quickly and with as little fuss as possible.
Please note Cambria 2 has recently won a world superyacht award, Steve and his boys have helped me achieve this level of success. I believe that Steve and Ship Shape Services would be an extremely valuable asset to your Motor Yacht Club and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.
